Counterpartly charges the seller, never the buyer. The buyer always pays exactly the negotiated price.
What is charged
- Sample orders — 5% of the goods value. Shipping is passed through at cost.
- Purchase orders paid in the platform (escrow/advance) — 3% of PO value on Free, 2% on Starter, 1.5% on Pro.
- Purchase orders paid by L/C or bank transfer — no transaction fee. The money moves bank to bank, so there is nothing to deduct; this route is part of what your subscription pays for.
- Tier-2 verification review — $99 one-time, free on Pro.
How it is collected
Platform-paid purchase-order fees are split proportionally across payment stages and deducted from the seller's payout. Every deduction is itemised on the order page, so the seller can see exactly what was taken and when.
